Since 2006 the Sport Concussion Program has provided pre-injury baseline testing and post-injury care and management to hundreds of athletes in the Bay Area. You may have noticed over the last couple of years that concussion in sports has become a hot topic of concern for doctors, athletes, parents and coaches. I have seen first hand the negative consequences that arise when these injuries are mismanaged. The mission of this program is to provide comprehensive concussion injury management through education, neuropsychological evaluation, academic support and return to play consultation.  Through proper treatment and management of concussion injuries, we can signifantly reduce recovery time and minimize risk for post injury complications.  The goal of our treatment is to ensure that when an athlete is returned to play, we are returning them safe, healthy and ready!
